Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She's now a Romanian/German actress. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The actress was born as the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens she portrayed the lead role in several television dramas.
