Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in film and TV is well known for movies like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra began her professional career in showbiz early. Her roles included lead characters in television dramas as early as 16 years old. After her critically acclaimed role in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went onto play more notable roles such as Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge in Downfall.
